An instrument that can determine lead concentration in paint films in milligrams per square centimeter(mg/cm2), settled dust wipe samples micrograms per wipe(µg/wipe), soil in parts per million (ppm), and air samples in micrograms per cubic meter (µg/m3) using the principle of x-ray fluorescence (XRF). Not all XRF instruments are created equally! We only use XRF instrumentation that has no inconclusive range and requires no substrate corrections.
